Product description TNFRII (TNF Receptor II) is a member of the TNFR family of transmembrane proteins, and is expressed in immune cells and certain endothelial cells. It is a high affinity receptor for TNF alpha but manifests a lower affinity to TNF beta. Signaling through this receptor regulates various biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, lipid metabolism, coagulation, and neurotransmission. TNFRII consists of a 240 amino acid residue extracellular ligand binding portion, a 27 amino acid residue transmembrane segment and a 173 amino acid residue cytoplasmic domain.
Immunogen Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hsTNF-receptor II. Human sTNF-receptor II specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hsTNF-receptor II matrix.

This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hsTNF-receptor II. Sandwich To detect hsTNF-receptor II by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. Application

To detect hsTNF-receptor II by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1- 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hsTNF-receptor II is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Application

This antibody stained PC-3 and CaCo-2 cells. The primary antibody was incubated at 3.0 mg/ml overnight at 4˚C followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Information is courtesy of the Cell Profiling group, SciLifeLab Stockholm.

Storage Instructions sTNF-receptor II antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8˚C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20˚C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer phosphate buffered saline , pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
